ABOUT PRESCHOOL St. Francis of the Lakes Catholic Preschool provides children with a play-based, child-focused, integrated curriculum. Each child’s stage of development and readiness to experience the world around them is honored and respected. Addressing the intellectual, emotional, social, creative, spiritual, motor skills and language needs is at the core of the curriculum. The following techniques are used: sensory activities, songs, dramatizations, action games, stories, religion, poems, finger plays, sign language, art, Spanish, take home activities & more. Creating confident lifelong learners is achieved through a partnership between children, parents, extended family, teachers and the St. Francis community. Class Times & Age RequirementsSt. Francis of the Lakes Catholic Preschool offers preschool & pre-kindergarten classes. Preschool – Children must be 3 by September 1st to be eligible for preschool classes. Pre-Kindergarten - Children must be 4 by September 1st to be eligible for the pre-kindergarten classes. MORNING SESSIONSPreschool class T/TH 8:30 am - 11:00 am Mixed age 3 & 4 AFTERNOON SESSIONSPre-kindergarten class T/TH 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm ALL DAY Pre-kindergarten class M/W/F 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
